the world's a stage

world history sucks

Our Social Studies class focuses on world history. But, before taking up the actual world history, we first need to study the countries around the world (and this is what we are doing right now). We started with Europe which consists of 47 countries and our BELOVED teacher asked us to memorize all those countries with its capitals and fondly called names for our quiz which we took up awhile ago. That was so nice of her. I thought I was already going insane with what she told us to do. She said she did that in college and it was easy. DUH! She was in COLLEGE when she took that and are only in third year highschool! Grrr. Damn her. Ang barok barok pa niya magsalita which makes her subject a little bit more interesting. At least we have something to make fun of. mwahahaha. I've been listing the things she says which makes the whole class laugh like mad. Here are some of them:

Velgium - Belgium
Vrussels - Brussels
I want a voots - I want boots
restawrant - restaurant
that are the countries - those are the countries
Awstralya - Australia
Awstriya - Austria

haha. Laughtrip! It's really fine with us if she speaks barok and she admits it. Unfortunately, she doesn't. She even thinks she speaks so fluently. Feeling! haha. Okay, i'll stop na. =).hihi.

theatre/alay kapwa

Clubs were launched awhile ago. I was thinking of going to Alay Kapwa. It's an outreach club. I really want to join in these things. Helping others is my passion. I don't really know why but I have this soft spot in my heart when I see orphans or street children or the lolos and lolas abandoned by their family. Err, I wasn't able to join the club because they said it still wasn't a sure thing. So I went to join theatre club instead only to find out that only 3 people joined Alay Kapwa. Because of that, I think they want to take it out na. I don't think they should take it out. If they need people, I'll go to their club! Anyway, theatre would be a new thing for me. I also would like to join in plays (kahit props people lang! haha) and productions. I think it's going to be fun! =) Sir Shaun and Ms. Cathy will be our moderators. They were so happy having a lot of students join them. We were 21 and I think some people would still want to join. =) But then, as I've said, if Alay Kapwa needs more people, I'll gladly join them. =) Oh yeah, we have an outreach thing nga pala in Social Studies. We'll teach students in public schools about world history. =) That would be nice!
