so dead tired
We taught grade 2 students again. Uh, this time, only section b were present. We learned that section a, starting now, will be going to school in the morning and b in the afternoon. So it's only section b we're going to teach. They were 35 and we were 6. We decided to have this 1:6 ratio of students per scholastican so that we can focus more on what we were teaching. When we asked them whom they wanted as their teacher, everyone wanted Mina. No comment. haha There were 6-7 boys who went to me. Gosh, they were the ones who didn't know how to read! Even simple a e i o u! I let them read the ba be bi bo bu and I was shocked that they didn't know how! They didn't know the sounds of the letters so that's what I taught them. I taught them a b and c sounds and until now they are still mixing the 3 sounds with each other. There was this 3 dedicated students who really wanted to learn how to read and they were the ones I taught. The others went somewhere else. Well, if they don't like to learn, that's not my problem any more. So there, next time I'm going to teach them the rest of the alphabet sounds, so help me God. haha It's so hard teaching these students! Imangine grade 2 pupils who doesn't know how to read a e i o u! It's like I'm teaching nursery students! Oh well...I guess we can't blame them if they don't have such good education.
